Twitter user Old Hollow Tree is a traditionalist of sorts. His enchanting feed harkens back to clearer, simpler times in his own life. He recently purchased 65 acres of land around his childhood home, moved back, and, with his wife and children, is embracing a nature-centered lifestyle.
Old Hollow Tree recently shared this image of an enormous shelf fungus into which his mother carved a landscape using just a pin. This one dates back to the 90s, when his mother made and sold these pieces at craft fairs for about $25 each. It would look perfect over my mantle.
