The mysterious Safi is an artist with precise control of his pens. I can find little information about him, but I can see clearly that he is a genius with the precise, technical skills necessary to make pointillist drawings of people with hundreds of thousands of dots.
But what has made Safi go viral are the tiny, delicate portraits that he renders with the use of a coin, as you can see in this portrait of comedian Jim Carrey.
The circular curve of a coin is helpful, but sometimes other objects, such as a key, provide the necessary guides.
