The Yip-Yips, who are formally identified as “the Martians”, are Muppet characters from classic Sesame Street. They investigated human homes and other objects, such as phones, books, and radios. They say “yip yip” a lot, hence their nickname.
With a few pipe cleaners and googly eyes, these glass vases turn into clearly identifiable Yip Yips. Except now there five, not a mere two. The Martian invasion has begun!
Atomic Shamrock Vintage, an antique seller in Wichita, Kansas, made these alterations to some vintage “Viking glass” pieces that it offers for sale. I love the idea of turning vintage glass into vintage Muppets!
