Armenian artist Karen Akhikyan began his career with oil paintings, then leaned into batik art, and for the last 15 years he's been making wire sculptures. He takes a nearly one-dimensional media -wire- and creates human figures that are abstract yet highly individual. They have no features nor fashions, but express movement and emotion in their basic forms. See a selection of Akhikyan's dynamic wire figures at My Modern Met or at Instagram.
