Japanese artist Shinrasinge has become virally famous for his pop-up books that tell complete stories with vividly mechanical animations. He’s especially fond of love stories, such as this sweet tale of a young couple in love.
You can’t be entirely sure where the stories are going, but they are, like life, often cyclical. There is nothing new under the sun, as the proverb says, and the relationships in our lives are new to us, but not new to the human adventure.
Life is pain. Anyone who says differently is selling something. Shinrasinge reminds us of this in each of his stories. But he also reminds us that the light is the greater than the darkness.
