Brian Stanley is an engineer who lives in California. When he lost his left eye to cancer, this tragedy gave him an opportunity for the cybernetic upgrade that his engineering skills could provide.
On his TikTok channel, Stanley shows what he can do with the artificial eyes that he has designed. They include a functional flashlight, as shown above.
He's also created artistic irises, as well as lights that he can control with the muscles of his eye socket.
