The World's Largest Wall Mural

Eduardo Kobra has been painting street art for almost 40 years. Based in his hometown of Sao Paulo, Brazil, he has painted 3,000 murals on five continents. When he was a teenager, he got arrested several times for painting on walls. Now Kobra leads a team doing commission work usong cherry pickers! Watch a time-lapse of his work.

The 2016 work is called We Are All One (Ethnicities), and holds the Guinness World Record for the largest graffiti ever. After three months of designing the painting, his team worked 12-hour days for two months installing it in time for the Rio Olympics. The five faces represent not only the five Olympic rings, but also five peoples, from five continents. They are the Huli from Oceania, the Mursi from Africa, the Kayin from Asia, the Supi from Europe, and the Tapajós from the Américas. -via Everlasting Blort
