Miniature artist Kath Holden designs and makes tiny versions of everyday things that real people use in real life. Along with her mother Margaret Shaw, she's built a business out of her 1/12 scale miniatures, and now her son Ryan Holden is a partner as well. You can find her hand-made items at Delph Miniatures. Holden has been selling her miniature items for more than 30 years, but has been making them even longer. She keeps the aesthetic contemporary and middle class, which is rather different from what most miniature collectors are looking for, but Holden makes the hobby more personal and accessible for anyone who wants to recreate a miniature world that reflects the real world around them. You can follow them at Facebook to keep up with new designs as they become available. -via Nag on the Lake ā
